A Message From The Board

A Message From The Board
The newly elected PZO 13 has only been in office for a short four months, yet this has been a highly challenging time for the board. During these four months we have successfully organized a few Ghanbars, and Jashans. PZO 13 has managed to hold some of the largely talked about Yalda and Sadeh events, in addition to renovations to Dar-e-Mehr, organization of the land issues, and many behind the scenes issues.
PZO 13 would like to thank all of our members for their continued assistance and support. No Matter what our shortcomings are, this community has been there for us, without any complaints. Our Zoroastrian community has been able to maintain its customs and ceremonies alive for many centuries, due to our close bonds. PZO 13 has a long and difficult road ahead, with many tasks to attend to. However, we are certain that with the community’s support and Ahura Mazda’s guidance, step by step we will achieve all of our goals. PZO 13 does not expect much from our members, only your continued support. Keep us well informed of your thoughts and perspectives and meet us halfway in order to guide the future of our community. Thank you

The Parking Issue

The Parking Issue

There is an ever increasing problem during our regularly held large gatherings at Dar-e-Mehr. This problem consists of cars that end up stuck in the dirt area, which is currently being used as parking. This problem is caused by a lack of leveled and asphalted land.
The current PZO has witnessed many upset car owners who have had to push and pull their cars out of the mud, during this recent rainy weather. PZO would like to provide a solution for this problem by creating a permanent parking area for our Dar-e-Mehr community.
This solution can only come with the help of our community members. If you are interested in helping with this issue please call us at (408) 429.9272 for further information, and suggestions as to how you could help.
